Infinity Care realises that the staff it employs are key to delivering a quality service. To assure such is achieved; our recruitment process is thorough and rigorous. Our future lies in in-house training where we provide a variety of courses to ensure our carers have the best start to their employment with Infinity Care.
Once accepted, we insist on a period of `work-shadowing` where new carers work alongside our senior members to learn the company values, processes and procedures first hand, before going it alone.
Through our local college we encourage all staff to achieve their NVQ 2 in Social Care, a compulsory government requirement.We recruit all our staff making sure they have all the relevant qualifications, security checks, references and where possible experience. All staff will have an enhanced CRB (ISA) criminal record check and references received. The CRB is also run through the protection of vulnerable adults register.
Our staff go through full training including Manual Handling, First Aid and Food Hygiene to national minimum standards.
Carers are all given contracts covering conditions of employment and disciplinary procedures. We have annual appraisals with opportunities to improve their qualifications.
