Infinity Care realises that the staff it employs are key to delivering a quality service. To assure such is achieved, our recruitment process is thorough and rigorous.

We emphasise the importance of training to all our staff, and deliver a variety of courses in-house, including bringing outside trainers to us where necessary. This makes it easy for staff to participate, and ensures we are aware of the standards and professionalism of all staff.

We ensure all of our staff have the essential requirements, and encourage additional take up for extra courses, all provided by ourselves.

New members of staff are then placed on a period of “work-shadowing” where new carers work alongside our senior members to learn the company values, processes and procedures first hand, before going it alone.

Through the training provided by our company in association with an independent trainer we encourage all staff to achieve their NVQ 2 in Social Care.

We recruit all our staff making sure they have all the relevant qualifications, security checks, references and where possible experience. All staff will have an enhanced DBS (formerly known as CRB) criminal record check and references received. The DBS Enhanced Disclosure check is also run through the Protection of Vulnerable Adults register.

Our staff go through full training and our comprehensive induction includes Moving and Handling, Medication, First Aid and various other courses to national minimum standards.

Carers are all given contracts covering conditions of employment and disciplinary procedures. We have annual appraisals with opportunities to improve their qualifications.
